Position Summary:
The Neurodiagnostic Technologist I is an entry level position responsible for performing a variety of routine diagnostic EEG recordings in both inpatient and outpatient settings. This position works under direct supervision of the technical supervisor to gain full competency. Work situations require strong customer service and communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality patient care. This position requires working at multiple MHS EEG locations as assigned. Internal contacts are within the work group including staff of supporting departments. External contacts include physicians, nurses, patients, patient families and caregivers.


Minimum Requirements:
Minimum 9 months clinical experience in the performance of EEG studies


Education/Licenses/Certifications:
Enrollment in or Graduate of an accredited Neurodiagnostic program recognized by ABRET, and/or Eligible for written examination for R. EEG T. certification by ABRET or Canadian Registry
BLS certification
